COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our latest Single Hop brew using CTZ hops. An unfiltered Pale Ale with huge grapefruit notes, a hint of caramel malts and a good bittering balance.

22oz bomber pours hazy gold with copper hues and tall off white head. The aroma has a good deal of spicy hop notes, a touch of lemon like citrus and sort of an herb grassiness. The taste is pretty fresh and crisp with tangy spicy hops that are thinly rimmed with a lemon to lime citrus sensation. Pretty nice stuff but there is a slightly out of place tart to acidic feature here.

Bottle, from my Maudite glass. Pours cloudy goldm with a green hue; 1-finger cream-coloured head, with fine lacing. Nose is grassy, with grapefruit, lemongrasss, dust: Nice lifted aroma, easy to pick apart. Flavours are dry and grassy, with lemon, soap, and really big earthiness. Long lemongrass finish. Solid.

22 oz. bottle- hoping this is the right one, my bottle says nothing about what hop it is, it just says single hop ale, how do you know the difference, very annoying- Pours hazy orange with a huge fluffy white head, it has created a volcano look, and massive blanket of lacing. Aroma is grapefruit hops, spicy, fresh cut grass. The taste is sweet syrupy hops, tangy, mild bitterness up front followed by more bitterness after the swallow. Body is somewhat light, carbonation is high. Overall this is a unique hop, assuming it is CTZ, never had a tangy syrupy yet light and fruity hop like this.

Pours hazy amber with a thin white head. Excellent aroma very citrus and grassy. Very nice. Tastes nice clean crops and well hoped nice brew. Just hopy enough with a certain sing to it.

Bottle:   Orange hued golden, hazy, large rocky white head, very nice lacing.   Sweet nose of pink grapefruit, some floralness, and a bit of candied hops.   Soft hops on the tongue, body is light.   Flavorful, but very shallow bitterness.   Clean on the exit, light, much more like a Pale Ale.   Fairly crisp, and very clean.   Not a big IPA by any means, but enjoyable and easy to put back.   Its actually rather refreshing!

650ml bomber pours a slightly hazy golden color with a finger of white head with some thin lacing left behind. Aroma of citrus hops and light caramel. Taste is citrusy hop bitterness balanced nicely with a caramel malty sweetness. This is a pretty decent pale with medium body and carbonation and just loaded with flavour.

22 oz. I assume this is the correct one in the series, since I find no evidence of bottling of the others at this date. There is no wording or indication on the label as to what hop is the "Single". Orange-amber with a foamy ring of bubbles and nice lacing. Nose is mostly grapefruit and resin, with some caramel grain, and beeswax. Flavor is evergreen resin, honeycomb, orange and grapefruit zest. Light body is a little too fizzy, but that helps with the crispness of the hoppy finish.

22. Pours a cloudy pale amber with a loose white head and tons of lace. Big pine and grapefruit nose. Creamy medium body with feisty carb. Toasty dry caramel mid palate showing tons and tons of pine and grapefruit, washing out into a big bitter resin finish. Refreshing and brightly-flavored IPA.

Pours hazy orange with a massive, foamy white head. Huge pine and grapefruit aroma. Flavor, on the other hand, is a little thin. Very good, though: piney, bitter, and dry makes for a great IPA on the lighter end of the spectrum.

Bottle, shared with my wife. Medium orange amber, chunky foamy off-white head that lasts the whole glass leaving thick rings of lace. Initially a fresh sweet fruity aroma reminiscent of Del Monte fruit cocktail, then more grapefruit rind stealsthe show. Nice hop blast on the palate, with underlying sweet malts. Surprisingly piney hop character, given the aroma. Nice solid bitterness. Probably the best I’ve had from these guys. Nice.
