Bottle Conditioned, Special;
An aromatic dark ruby bitter ale, with a complex palate and a dry finish. An ideal accompaniement to game, charcuterie and strong cheese.

BCA (from Bitter Virtue, BBE Jun 06). Brewed by the proprietors of Bitter Virtue at Wicked Hathern using Soar Head as the starting point for the recipe but with several ammendments. Richly malty nose, dark fruits, toasty nutty aromas and some apple. Fuller malt flavours initially leading to slightly disjointed and thin hop finish. Some pleasant features but seemed slightly green. (av rating given)
