75 cl bottle, bought at the brewery. Looks simple but good. Strange, the label says "Dunkel" but also "Schwarzbier". Beer in the glass very dark, almost black. Starts intense malty, modest dry, some notes of dried fruits. Finish milder, soft-malty, not too dry. Well balanced and drinkable. Not bad!

Maria (8576) - Thisted, DENMARK - AUG 7, 2011
Courtesy of Fonefan. It’s a beautiful mahogany-red beer with a creamy head, and the aroma has notes of dark syrup, nuts, caramel and hints of vegetables. The flavour is sweet with notes of dark syrup, walnuts, roasted malt and caramel – a nice dunkel.

Bottle 750ml. w. swing top.

[ Neck label says also "Premium Schwarzbier" ]. Clear medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, brown sugar. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long to average duration, thin roasted bitter, burnt caramel malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20110720]

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a beautiful clear brown with a beautiful orange hue and a creamy beige head. Roasty nose, a whiff of smoked malts. Medium body, a pleasant roastiness, some burned caramel, a whiff of cardboard and again a solid hop finish. 200711
