COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A medium hopped, light bodied Amber Ale. This brew derives its flavor from American grains with emphasis on caramel and roasted malts. oregon grown hops abound. I hope the Avenel gang enjoys this one. Cheers from Augie. (4.6%ABV)

On tap at the brew pub. Poured a medium to deeper amber color with a off white head. Aromas and tastes of light toasted malts, light caramel with some orange peel in the finish. Oranges in the aroma as well. Thinner body.

I would say that this was just your run-of-the-mill amber, but actually I liked this one more than average.

Draft. Pours golden amber with a white head. Light sweet malty aroma with a hint of hops. The flavor is well balanced, with sweet malts and floral and earthy hops. Pretty good.

Pours, well, amber from tap. Not much aroma to speak of but if you really really focus you might get some hop action on the finish.

Draft at the brewpud with willblake, thanks Jon. Poured an orange/amber body with a flulffy medium sized white head. Aroma is rather weak with slight grainy/grassy notes. Flavor is a bit better with notes of grains plus a hint of chocolate malts. Smoother body with an average mouthfeel and avverage carbonation. An okay beer.

At the brewery. Lacking the hop crispness that I like from most American ales. Malt and grains dominate this beer with a strong honey note.

Great beer. Nice gold color, great taste. Could probably drink a million of these. Try the growler!

I’m not an amber guy so my scores might be lower than someone who is in to this type of beer. Its a good version of budweiser. Nothing more, nothing less.

sampled at the brewpub. Amber in color, medium sized off white head with pretty active carbonation. Nowhere near the amount of hop character I thought this was going to have after reading the description. Some caramel/toasted grain in the aroma, but even that was somewhat muted. Taste was pretty bland with caramel and toasted malts and a very light hop bitterness in the background.

Clear glowing amber-orange coloured ale over which lasts a large off-white head. Healthy looking pour. Straightforward, quite grainy, cerealic and slightly tart ale with a certain mineral backbone. Limited fruitiness, quite sweet on the palate and holding a minimal bitterness of a herbal and leafy nature. Kinda lame finish. Gentle carbonation.

Lacking in aroma, what was there was basically malt. Coloring was a lighter shade of maple syrup. Head was impressive, as was the lacing. Flavors were on the mild side with no real flavor of anything but caramel malts. Easy to drink, but honestly, a bit watery. Unoffensive to the casual beer drinker, which makes it basically forgettable to the rest of us.
