COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A medium hopped, light bodied Amber Ale. This brew derives its flavor from American grains with emphasis on caramel and roasted malts. oregon grown hops abound. I hope the Avenel gang enjoys this one. Cheers from Augie. (4.6%ABV)

Happy malt, mild, fresh hops, reminds me of Full Sail Amber but not so aggressive, if any amber ale can be said to be aggressive. One of the better brewpub ambers.

Nice orange-red color. Hoppy and malty aroma, but subtly so. Malt is balanced with hops and carmel. This beer has a nice character to it for a low alcohol beer.

I would say that this was just your run-of-the-mill amber, but actually I liked this one more than average.

Tap. Pours a nice medium to deep amber with a thin film of a head. Aroma is slightly nutty and caramel malts, with a balance of herbal and tea-like hops with hints of citrus. Flavor is slightly sweet with caramel malts, bready, herbal and slightly tea-like especially in the end. Nice clean bitterness and finishes crisp and light. Nice amber.

Draft. Pours amber with a lacing white head. Faint caramel malt aroma. Caramel and toasty malt flavor, evenly balanced by the bitter hop. Nothing overly complex here, but decent.

07.23.04 tap at brewpub. Not overly hopped like many brewpub ambers. Very grainy with fresh, grassy, bitter hops at quick end. Heaps of caramel. Mainly a quaffer.
