Pours a dark reddish burgandy and a small white small-bubbled head. Leaves thick lacing, Aromas of toast, caramel, chocolate, toffee comprise the bouquet. Mouthfeel is round and very creamy. Mellow. Finishes quickly with a little sweetness.

on tap-pours a light brown head with ruby red/brown color. Aroma is sweet medium/dark malt-toffee/nut. Taste is sweet medium/dark malt-roasty/toffee/nut, 2nd eathy/spice hops.

Let me preface this by saying that I am not much of a brown ale drinker nor am I too fond of them. This one had a great nutty flavor and not much hops. It was not overly sweet. I enjoyed it but couldn’t have more then one or two pints.
