COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Very light and crisp with low hp bitterness, this beer gathers it's flavor from fresh Raspberries that are used in place of flavoring and aroma hops.

Did not like. Wish I tried it first. Near clear yellow pour. Hint of sweetness on the nose. Tastes like drinking hand sanitizer. Not something I would drink again.

3oz sample at the brew pub. Pours a clear gold color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of wheat and faint raspberry. Taste is grainy, light citrus, soap, and artificial raspberry.

Tap. Pours clear gold with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is raspberry, grainy malt and light hops. Flavor is malt forward with raspberries and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

Draft at the source. Clear golden yellow color, thick white head. Aroma of dusty berries. Taste is intense berries, wheat is in the background.

On tap at J. J. Bitting. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Sweet floral and perfume filled raspberry notes on the nose, strong syrup. Medium bodied, grainy and sweet, full of raspberry syrup again. Not as sweet and cloying as I would expect, this is actually drinkable. Not that I really want to drink it in any volume, but there’s not the big cloying flaws that you usually find with a lot of brewpub raspberry wheats. Finishes with more lingering “raspberry” flavor. Not for me, but better than most, which is something I guess.

Not very hazy in appearance but it does have a strong raspberry nose. Sweet but not very "wheaty".

blipp (6326) - Newark, New Jersey, USA - SEP 11, 2011
Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Light fruity raspberry aroma with some pale malty notes. The flavor has a light raspberry sweetness on a plain pale malty base. Not bad.

DiarmaidBHK (3527) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 5, 2011
Pours golden from tap. Not a ton of aroma which is surprising given the raspberry. Luckilly the raspberry is a bit more pronounced on the tongue but once you get past that, there’s not much there. The finish is a little astringent a little sloppy.

dmac (4204) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - MAR 28, 2010
Draft. Poured a clear gold with a small white head. Aroma of raspberry syrup and grains. Body is on the thin side with average carbonation. Flavor is similar to the aroma and the raspberry note seems artificial.
