2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 madsberg (7529) - Søborg, DENMARK - JUL 10, 2006
Bottled: Orange coloured. Fluffy beige head. Light smoke, berries and fruit is dominating this beer. Seems a little harsh in the flavour, and is not very balanced IMO. When it warms up the fruit and berries flavours gets more distinct, but still the harsh bitterness rules.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - NOV 4, 2006
Bottled. Aroma of berries but not really the ones I like and just that. Cloudy, beige irregular head, good lace though. Starts thin and metallic with the same bad berries. Later on malts come in and some sweetness to give it some body. Also more and better fruit and some bitterness. Soft mouthfeel with a dry finish. Different, interesting but ok? Took me some time to get used to it. And did I read it right, bottom fermented???
