Hazy orange color with fine white head. Sweet malty aroma. Flavor is good sweet with belgian taste and bitter finish. High carbonated.

From Sdr. Bjert Kro, DK. Bottled, 210711. Brown with beige head. Aroma of malt and berries. Flavor with caramel, yeast and hint of bog myrtle.

Hazy amber with a big off-white head. Aroma is weak, sweet, malty, fruity, sugary and spicy. Flavor is medium sweet. Dry finish. 020711

Bottle. Hazy amber/orange with giant off-white head. Flavour is malt, spices, caramel, fruit, little bitter and hops.

Bottle. Medium high creamy lasting head. Hazy amber body. Honey, pors, hops roasted aroma. Bitter sweet spicy flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness. Low carbonation, long bitter aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours an unclear and golden beer with a big offwhite head. The aroma is malt, spices with star anis, coriander, honey and cloves. The flavor is malt, medicin and spices with cloves. The palate is spicey and overall the spices are too dominant.

Pours cloudy amber with a large beige head. Aroma is malt, honey, staranise and fruity notes. Flavour is malt, bitter and phenolic.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2010 Amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of honey, spices and herbs and a touch of berries. Sweet honey flavour with anise and a herbal touch. The spices get cloying.

Bottle @ Bjert kro as munken. Pours unclear dark copper with a large frothy white head. Nose is spices and herbs. Anis, cardemum and sweet honey. One dimensional and cloying. Medium bodied.

Bottle from the brewpub. Frothy white good mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter nice spicey flavor. Average finish. Oily palate. Nice but expensive.
