A deep red beer with a dense light brown head. The aroma is sweet with a nice mixture of fruit, berries, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of berries, fruit, alcohol, and candy sugar. The end is dry mainly from the alcohol, but also with a slight acidity from the berries. The alcohol is warming the tongue.

Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hioppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Nice.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Brygmand Julebryg". Hazy, reddish amber with a small, off-white head. Very fresh and fruity nose. Only a medium body in spite of the alcohol with plenty of fruity accents - fruit rather than spice. Maybe a wee saline touch? Notes of fruit bubblegum - Hubba Bubba style. A rather unusual but neat Christmas beer. 290106

Bottle. Hazy amber colour with a huge mostly diminishing off white head. Sweet malty aroma and taste with lots of caramel and fruits. Too sweet in the long run.

Nice hazy amber color. First impression of apple aroma. Malty taste, not very bitter, no complexity, sweetish, just ok, nothing special. No defects, no emotions.
