Bottle (as Brygmand Sorte Øl). Black with a brown head. Caramel aroma with chocolate, port, plums and a little too much alcohol. Sweet flavour of chocolate, toasted malts with a finishing malty bitterness. Decent beer.

Dark brown color with a fine brown foam. Good roasted stout with a light nutty taste.

Bottle from Liva. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, licorice, caramel, nuts, coffee, chocolate and hops.

Sdr. Bjert Kro, DK. Bottled, 200711. Black with brown head. Aroma of liqourice and malt. Flavor with roasted malt and spices.

Clear very dark brown with a brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate and a little dried fruit. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light roasted bitter finish. 020711

Bottle. Very dark brown with big tan head. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, bitter, fruit and a little coffee.

Bottle at Kolding Øldage.Muddy brownish colour with creamy beige head.Aroma of dried fruits and marzipan a bit unbalanced but o.k mouthfeels and good malty finish.

Tap @ Bjert Kro. Pours black with a off white head. Vague roast, berries, dark fruit and chocolate. Thin palate. Low carbonation. A bit dusty and slightly tart flavor.

Draught at the brewpub. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Very dark red amber colour. Heavy malty and nutty aroma. Light sweet and modeate bitter flavor. Plumb and vanilla notes. Long interresting finish. Creamy and syruply palate. I think consedering beries are added and the lack of roasted malt that this i a S/H/V not a foreign stout. But it is a very good beer.

0.5 l bottle. Hazy dark reddish brown color with tan head. Berryish aroma with raspberry, raisins, cola and hints of solvent. Sweet flavor with berries, licorice, cola, chocolate and bread. Sharp carbonation. Surprisingly cola like and not very drinkable.
