[Draft at BJ’s in Boulder Colorado] A hazy dark orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is very flowery and hoppy from extensive use of aroma hops. The flavor is lovely with notes of hops, oil, and grass, leading to a dry end where the mouthwater just dries out.

moderately hoppy (grapefruit, resin, pine).
Flavor is
moderately sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter.
Finish is
lightly sweet, moderately acidic, heavily bitter.

Now that's a puckery/sour IPA! Typical resinous PNW hop aroma. Nothing special to me, but will surely float some hophead's boat.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Aubrey (3191) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - JAN 8, 2005
Boulder, CO: Medium gold. Crisp up front; creamy-smooth base. Sharply citric, even a little acidic. Big grapefruit explodes throughout. Lesser notes of pine, spruce and resinous tree sap. Malts were mild, but definitely in the profile. Notes of bread dough and a very slight amount of caramel sweetness. Significant amount of bitterness in the finish. Kind of dry finish. Not too shabby, but the grapefruit was a little too dominant.
