glennmastrange (1635) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - NOV 11, 2007
Tap. Aromas of roasted and bread for the malt, moderate fresh green hops, pine and citrus, and light dough for the yeast, with toffee in the background. head is creamy, white, mostly lasting, with excellent lacing. Flavor starts moderately acidic and finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is light/medium, watery and has a soft to lively carbonation. Okay beer, aroma was good but the taste was a bit flat.

Draught. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cookie), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, resin, pine). Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, heavily bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Now that's a puckery/sour IPA! Typical resinous PNW hop aroma. Nothing special to me, but will surely float some hophead's boat.

luckygirl (1221) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 28, 2006
Draught at BJ’s Boulder. Beer poured a hazy medium orange-amber color with an average, frothy, off-white head. The aroma was malty with moderate notes of toasted grain, cookie and caramel; hoppy with moderate notes of resin/pine and grapefruit; yeasty with moderate note of sweat. The flavor was kind of flatlined; Moderately to heavily bitter, lightly acidic with a long, lightly acidic, moderately-to-heavily bitter, grippy finish. The body was light, the texture was watery and the carbonation was average.
