On tap at BJs Sacramento. Pours yellow with a thin white head and a floral aroma. There is a light pale malt flavor with subtle hop bitterness. A decent kolsch.

Aroma of hay, light grassy and herbal hops and a bit of lemon. Appearance Is gold with scant white head. Flavor is a nice blend of aroma notes, with a slightly dry finish, where the lemon is apparent, but not overpowering. Palate is bubbly with nice, soft carbonation. Surprisingly good for a chain restaurant beer.

Pours light golden with white foam head. Aroma of malt and little bit of hops. Flavour is very light balance of malt sweetness and a subtle hop character. Very easy drinking German lager style.

on tap, in tampa, Light on aroma, pretty easy drinking. Golden in colour, smooth drinking and nice finish decent brew

On draft. Similar to the light switch but just with a little more character. Slight fruit in the aroma with a little bit of malts. Malty flavor, other than that, pretty bland.

Draft in Orlando. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy aroma with just a touch of sweetness. The flavor has straw and fresh grains with a light sweetness. Low bitterness. Not bad.

BJ’s Brewhouse Blonde. Pours out a yellow color with a thin white head that had no retention and virtually no lacing. Aroma was sub par and smelled weakly of malts and light herbs. Also a pretty weak flavor which was sweet citrus and slightly bready. It has a bitterness during the finish. Overall it’s a very subtle beer.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2010 Tasted on tap at the Aurora location. Very light and clear yellow appearance. Very weak aroma. Quite thin body that’s really just watery and slightly pale malty.

Nice malt, but clearly thin. Very muted flavors. Balanced. A bit of pinot taste oddly shows up but is interesting.
