3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the 10th Annual San Diego Strong Ale Festival: Pours a clear bright copper bronze with a large frothy, clingy lacing white head. Sweet pale caramel malty and German lager yeasty aroma has some buttery notes and strawberry fruity character. Body starts fairly full and sweet with some earthy grainy caramel and authentic German bock character. Fairly well-balanced, a decent bock.

10th Annual SD Strong Ale Fest: Poured a lgihtly hazed copper color with a very large creamy off-white head. The aroma was fruity and dusty. Notes of raisins, dirty, sweaty and old fruit. The flavor was on the light side with notes of browned apples. Dry finish and some bitterness. Dull but smooth mouthfeel.
