4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
[Vintage 2008] Tap @ Belmont Station... Really impressive from these guys. Poured a hazy orange with a white head, nice retention and lacing. Tangy, vinegar-like aroma. Super dry and almost like gueuze. Stung in the back of the palate and created a satisfying finish of herbal, honey tones. This is an incredible brew.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Belmont Station. Aged 2 years (2007). Pours a slightly cloudy gold with a medium white head. Yeast, alcohol, just normal funk for the nose. The flavor is fruity and slightly sweet, mostly apricot. The tart is just under the surface peaking out, great. The palate left an interesting buttery feel on the tongue. Puckerfest is here, and this was a great way to kick it off.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Belmont Station. Pours gold, very clear, with a tall white head. Beautiful sour nose, soft citrus, sour, medium acidic character, funky, delicious. The flavor does not let the aroma down, very nice tartness, sour finish, dry and funky. Soft citrus and a subtle tart berry note. Very nice beer that will continue to improve with age, well if there is any left.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
"Vasili was kind enough to provide some insight into the beers we’ll be pouring on Wednesday, April 24th." (on tap at Belmont Station in Portland, OR)--Wow! A sharp reddish hue with a minuscule white head. Sour, lactic cherry nose. Funky, yeast with a minute wooden, boozy nose. Biting, tart, sour complexities that resonated to a different take upon every sip. Aged well to this point, obviously. Fruity presence of cherry, strawberry and lots musty, earthy hopped tannins. I probably couldn’t drink a lot of this in one setting, but it was quite unique and flavorful. My palate was humming for a bit afterwards.
