(Draught) Pours a clear amber body with a moderate cream head. Aroma of leather, old books, caramel, and raspberries. Flavor of light roastiness, black cherry, medicinal, some yogurt, brett, and earthiness.

A: The pour is dark amber in color, almost mahogany with a medium sized khaki head.
S: Not the best nose. There are some nice fruit characteristics such as cherry and blackberry, as well as some moderate vinegar sourness. A nice bit if sweetness, too, but there is a distinct acetone note to it, too.
T: Luckily, the acetone isn’t present on the flavor. Big time berry flavors of blackberry and boysenberry. Some cherry and a moderate vinegar note. Fairly sweet with some toffee and chocolate (oxidation?).
M: Medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.
O: I was pleasantly surprised by this beer. The nose had some problems, but overall, pretty solid.

Hazy red with a tiny off white head. Heavy on the lacto in the aroma with sour berries, roasted malt, caramel and hints of brett. Flavour had sour berries, roasted malt, plenty of lacto and hints of brett. Massive sourness in the finish.

On tap at Stone Oaquinox. Amber color. Sweet and sour. Some ethyl acetate. Easy to drink. Nice.

On tap @ Stone Oakquinox. A very shocking style to see from a brewery like BJ’s. Pours a hazy reddish brown with a small off white ring. Nose of dry oak and semi tart cherries with faint acetone and vinegar. Semi sour and salty sweet in the finish.
