Belgian yeast, straw, and some citrus in the aroma. Flavor is pretty standard Belgian tripel, with candy sugar, banana, and bread. Alcohol and some spice in the finish. Nothing spectacular, but pretty good.

3/11/13. On tap in Jax - St. John’s Town Center. Mostly clear golden pour with a small off-white head that fades to a ring. Sweet, fruity esters in the aroma with sugars and a bit of a chemical bite. Very sweet sugary, fruity, and estery flavor that lingers sweer with a dose of booziness. Eh.

On draught at brewpub. Pours a golden color with white head. Big eatery aromas. Medium body. Slightly sweet pale malt flavor balance with Belgian yeast character. Late alcohol finish. Seems like a smooth tripel. OKAY.

Hazy yellow pour with little head and mild carbonation. Faint citrus aroma. Fresh citrus taste and feel with a mild bite. Good beer for yard work on a hot day. Not so great in the middle of winter.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 onceblind (2535) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 1, 2013
Slightly hazy copper with a thin foamy white head. Smells of dusty bubblegum and flaked wheat with a small golden grain cereal tone. Flavor was nice and large, a delightful change of pace for BJs. Sweet though well rounded with earthy bright maltiness, bubblegum, candied wheat, citrusy spiciness, and a sweet dusty Saison finish.

On tap at the brew pub. Pours a cloudy copper/orange with absolutely no head at all. Spicy fruit, barnyard and funky Belgian yeast notes. Low-to-no carbonation. Medium body with a flat mouthfeel. The flavor is not bad, but needs some carbonation and head retention.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Crispy34 (156) - Texas, USA - NOV 14, 2012
Draft. Aroma is of belgian yeast and some sweet malt. The beer looks a hazy gold with some nice, light head. The taste starts starts belgian and turns a sweet malt overtaken by alcohol. The palate is ok for a grand cru. Overall, this beer is alright. Wouldn't order two in a sitting, though.
