Aroma has strong banana and slightly spicy wheat notes; effectively no lemon. Flavor is the same plus some light lemon. Spiciness resolves into what tastes like light clove. Light sweetness, no bitterness, light bodied, but creamy on the palate. Not bad at all. I am surprised at the bashing this one has taken.

It definitely has a grainy taste to it. It has a dark yellow color to itm and very little head/lacing. Not the best, but by no means the worst

This is a decent Hefeweizen. Murky yellow color, decent lacing white head. Good cereal/wheat flavor- smell is same.

Draft at BJ’s (Citrus Park, FL). Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a mid-sized foamy white head. Aroma and flavor have an abundance of clove, banana and German yeast. Easy drinking hefeweizen.

On draft. Nice and hazy. The aroma is amazing, more clove/spice then banana, this is a rarity. A great doughy character in the flavor, a great example of the style.

Sampler@BJ’s Cupertino, CA, 31/08/12. Murky apricot with a fine white head. Ripe pineapple, pepper and clove on banana aroma. Really decent authentic Bavarian taste with big clovey esters and a dollop of banana ice cream. Surprisingly good.

On tap at BJ’s Louisville. Pours hazy golden with small white head. Some thin lacing, medium body, low carbonation, and banana aroma. Taste is banana, some bubblegum, and some clove. Pretty good.

Aroma: classic plastic hefe (like paulaner).
