On tap at the Westwood Location. Sent in a picture to be uploaded. Pours with a small, off-white head that fades and a clear very deep copper body. Decent lacing. Aroma of allspice, cinnamon, and wheat. Overall pretty weak aroma. Taste is cinnamon, allspice, brown sugar and sort of a lager crispness/yeast profile. Light astringency from the spice. Mouthfeel is water like and thin-ish.

On tap at the Brea location on 12/3/06: Pours a transparent copper bronze with a wispy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet cinnamony nutmeg and caramel malt. Body starts with a light sugary caramel maltiness and a pumpkin spice flavor that reminds me of those windmill cookies. Nicely-balanced and enjoyable brew with good use of the pumpkin and spice flavors.

Tap at BJs Tampa. 4.7abv Pours amber - orange with white head. Aroma of pumpkin, spices and hops. Taste of pumpkin and light caramel malts with spices - cinnamon. Floral hops give the beer a faint orange mouthfeel. A very decent seasonal pumpkin beer.

Sample on tap at the Cincinnati location. Clear yellow orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves decent strings and dots of lace. Good pumpkin - spice nose. Nutmeg, little cinnamon. Smooth lighter carbonation, more dry texture. Lighter body, light pumpkin aroma, more of the spice by swallow. Good savory taste, light spice, little bit of bitter. Respectable pumpkin ale.

Draught. Body is dark amber. Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, cookie), with notes of allspice and cinnamon. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery (almost syrupy) texture, lively carbonation. Very attractive spice aroma with a nourishing malt background, just how I like my winter warmers. Just a tad too sweet, as with most of BJs brews, but this is one of the better winter brews Iíve had this year.

On tap Woodland Hills, Ca: Dark copper hue with no head. Huge spicy aroma like many holiday beers, my Aunt's pumpkin pie. Tones of clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, mild hops, and roasted malt. Gutwein like spices marry well with medium malt levels. Very light bitterness on finish. No pumpkin taste on palate. Thin-bodied but still slighty chewy, weird. Unique, this style of beer. The spices are a bit too much.

"if youíre in the mood for pumpkin and spice, this is your beer. Not as bad as some of the pumpkin flavored pee water out there (Blue Moon Harvest Moon). This as expected, and maybe a little too spicy, but the spices are tasty and the beer is exactly what was expected. No more no less."
