BJ's Pumpkin Ale
A- no head. Clear brown w. orange hue. Lots of bubbles, kinda watery looking.
S-Pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, malt sweetness. Smells like Pumpkin Pie.
T-Nice brown ale base with good amount of malt sweetness. This is a rare pumpkin beer that has more pumpkin flavor than cinnamon and nutmeg, which are there and blend very well. Great creamy pie-like flavor.
M- thin to medium with good amount of carbonation. Great creamy pumpkin after taste.
O- Excellent pumpkin flavor, great aftertaste. Easy drinking.

"if youíre in the mood for pumpkin and spice, this is your beer. Not as bad as some of the pumpkin flavored pee water out there (Blue Moon Harvest Moon). This as expected, and maybe a little too spicy, but the spices are tasty and the beer is exactly what was expected. No more no less."

Very enjoyable on draft at the brewery in Riverside, California. I had mine with Fireball Whiskey and cinnamon sugar rim, so the cinnamon was really predominant. Still, there was some pumpkin here, and itís quite smooth.

Drank as BJís Pumpkin Ale -- nice session seasonal brew. Mild malty nose with pumpkin pie spices coming off an orange pour with an adequate head. Taste is lighter than most pumpkin beers with pumpkin pie spices and clean finish. Pumpkin Ale is nothing special but a nice Autumn change with the seasons.

Draft at their Frederick, MD location served in a pils glass, clear dark copper color with off-white head. Aroma of pumpkin, spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, faint clove) and some caramel. Taste adds a little graham cracker sweetness. Light-medium body, low-moderate carbonation, soft with spicy/sweet finish. Pretty good balance between pumpkin and spice, nice.

Very pleasant. Strong pumpkin and spice aroma. Almost pastry-like. Nice brown color with an orange tint. Foamy head. Average weight palate with good carbonation. Smooth character. Good blend of flavors resting on pumpkin and spice. Maybe nutmeg? I believe it would go well with dessert.
