A spicy finish balances the sweet start of this seasonal favorite. Orange in color with the delicious taste and aroma of pumpkin pie!

Sugary-sweet nose. Sweet and chewy malt backbone; easy to drink and flavorful. Cinnamon aroma comes out up front; allspice is big in the middle; and then a sugary cinnamon in the finish. Nice amount of spices -- not too much, not too little. Balances with the malts well. Hops blend nicely with the spices also, adding a little bitterness to the mix.

Had this for desert tonight with Michael, Joey, and Allison. Nose of pumkin pie. The brew is sparkling garnet. The thin wispy head is fully diminishing with no lace. The flavor "just blossoms in your mouth" according to my guest rater. The beer is spicy throughout. The middle is kinda sweet with no acidity. The finish is crisp. The medium fizzy body is very greamy. The finish feels a tad sticky.

Draft at Brea location. Dark orange / amber pour. Aroma of pumpkin, a little spice (coriander i think). The flavor is nice and palate is good, but a little light on the malt.

Taster - BJs Brewhouse - Seattle, WA Ė Orange in color for sure with a pumpkin aroma and flavor. This was a decent attempt at a festive beer. The spices in this beer where pretty above average for a pumpkin beer.

Tasted on tap at DTM’s Bday. I was surprised by this one. Nice and smooth, this brew had notes of brown sugar, cloves and nutmeg. Not overpowering and very balanced beer.

Smells like nutmeg and cinnamon and brown sugar. Unfortunately it has the signature butter flavor that I get with many pumpkins but itís actually a pretty good pumpkin ale

Really great pumpkin taste in this. The pumpkin is not just some squash dropped in the fermented, but the main focus of the beer. The bartender swore it was good w/ whipped cream and even poured us one w/ some when we didnít believe her. (well, thatís a first). Great choice and amount of spices to go w/ that great pumpkin taste. Not saying much, but best pumpkin beer I have had.

The nose on this thing is out of this world. There is a wafting, pillowy scent of cinnamon and nutmeg. The taste is dusted with sugar and flaky hops. The pumpkin here is pronounced without feeling like youíre seed deep in the stuff. Good dichotomy going on. This seasonal ale feels great when stewing in that frothy maw of yours. Awesome after-meal treat.

Pours out a transparent dark orange, fluffy khaki head with good lacing. Oh, that smell! Perhaps the best smelling pumpkin ale I ever smelt. Creamy pumpkin pie pilling, a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon. Taste is found lacking though. Still good, just lighter bodied than I demand, crisp and clean. Not as creamy as the smell would hint at. Good, not great.
