had a chance to taste this beer at the BJs in burbank. pours a light copper with light carbonation. the aroma is a forest of floral hops. very inviting. very drinkable with a lingering hop residue that covers the palate. a treat for those that enjoy IPAs that dont taste like rocket fuel. cheers

Really nice hoppy beer. Great looking and the lace ringed the glass all the way to the bottom. Tasty. I wanted another one but had to leave. Sweet, bitter and malty. Yum!

On tap at the Elk Grove location. Dark amber / copper color with little white head, but great lacing down the glass. Aroma is resinous and floral hops. Flavor has some light caramel sweetness with good resinous hop notes. Medium bodied with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Overall I was impressed with this.

Poured from a draft into an imperial pint glass at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewery in Culver City, Calif. About a finger of head when I got it. Color was honey golden pale. Fluffy white lacing on the top. Really good looking film - white, soapy and foamy - that lasted throughout the pour. Smelled citrus hops, a mixture of tangerine and lemon. Wet, caramel malts as well. Initially the taste was worse than the smell. More grainy and rough. Caramel malts mixed with citrus hops. Bitter finish in the tongue after. Got used to it more later. A very poor man’s Double Jack. Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter finish. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I would definitely try it again if it’s in the BJ’s near my place.

[Reno]–on tap-pours a big tight foamy white head and gold/amber color. Aroma is citrus/pine, some medium malt. Taste is pine/some citrus hops with some bite, secondary medium malt-with some sweet. Crisp, slightly drying.

tap from the Boulder brewpub - Pours lightly hazy copper with a nicely lacing head. There’s a very good grapefruit accented hop aroma. The flavor has more of those good, crisp citrus hops and a solid malt balance. It’s medium bodied and overall an enjoyable IPA, definitely the best of the sampler I had.

On tap at bjs. Pours a hazy golden color with a white film. Aroma is floral and citrusy. Flavor is smoothly hoppy, citrusy, with a balancing hop background. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Clear dark gold with a small head that settles into a thin cap, but leaves good lace. Nice sticky aroma of floral resin, a touch of pine, and perhaps some lemon and/or orange. Flavor is nice and full and just as hoppy as any IPA fan can ask for. Starts nice and grapefruity with a stern bitterness, melting into a resiny pine and floral bitterness, ending floral and sticky. The maltiness is sweet and caramelly, but quiet. Quiet enough to let the hops be the star, but present enough to balance. Quite the understated IPA. Full and hoppy.

Hazy orange color with a nice head that leaves heavy lacing.Aroma and flavor is heavy green pine with a malty backbone.

On tap at BJs Sacramento. Pours golden with a decent beige head and toffee and pine aroma. There is a nice caramel malt and banana flavor with a bitter grapefruit finish.
