Amber copper, aroma of earthy hops, low bitterness yet decent hop flavor, low carbonation made it almost seem flat, decent lacing improves appearance rating. Overall a low end IPA that doesnít completely suck.

Pale amber-gold pour. Fresh pine and lots of dry-hopped resinousness and heavy citrus. Orange peel and grapefruit flavour. Moderate bitterness but the hop character is bright and clean. Pretty nice, simple IPA

On tap at the Escondido location. Maybe their lines are bad. I thought it was just swill beer, but thereís a number if intelligent rates here that donít sound like the piss I drank. Bitter and sharp leftovers. No sweetness or hop character at all. Bland and one-dimensional.

On tap at Modesto BJís. One of their seasonal beers apparently. The body is a nice golden oragen color, clear with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is light pine, a touch of bready malts, a a bit spicy. Flavor is where this beer really shines, and the piney/grapefruit hop bite was a welcomed flavor. Really nicely balanced with the malt backbone, there was some earthy flavor to the beer. Really nice with my cuban sandwich.

On tap in Cinci. Pours a medium golden color with a small white froth. Aroma is fairly nice, some fresh hoppiness, piney and lightly citric, some grapefruit. A solid caramel malt character balances. The flavor loses all of that hoppiness...well most of it. You taste the big malt caramel and toffee characters, then get some hops but they are pretty subdued, barely contribute and bitterness especially in the finish. Medium body and a crisp carbonation. Almost tastes like a pale ale, I think this would be a good beer for IPAís drinkers who donít like a lot of bitterness, whoever those crazy people are!

had a chance to taste this beer at the BJs in burbank. pours a light copper with light carbonation. the aroma is a forest of floral hops. very inviting. very drinkable with a lingering hop residue that covers the palate. a treat for those that enjoy IPAs that dont taste like rocket fuel. cheers
