3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at BJs in Tucson. Clear and coppery with a layer of off white foam. Some citrus in the nose but not a lot. Light hop flavors to start. Floral and citrus. Some earth is tasted and a bit of spiciness. A bit of fruit is nice but like everything here, is not really enough. A little pepper comes in late. Light bitterness lingers. This is definitely not the best IPA I have had but it is enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light aroma, touch of pine and citrus. Flavor is malt with a nice lemony citrus, that fades to a bland bitterness that lingers a while. It starts nicely, but I donít like the finish.

On draft at BJís poured an amberish color with aromas of light tropical fruit, caramel, and pine. Flavors are the same, nothing over the top, a decent beer overall.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pint on tap in the Fairfield, OH location. Nice thin creamy off-white head, leaving good, generous lace. Midly hazy amber carmel color. Light caramel malts, kind of pleasant, balances well with the hops (which are kind of on the light side, but have a good orange-peel flavor). Taste is light bitter with a light zestiness. Lighter body - I would guess 6%. The "beer guy" who was my waiter later told me it was 5.8% when I asked. Goes down very smooth, with a nice crispness, light carbonation, dry finish. Itís a great texture, very easy to gulp down. I went through my pint pretty fast. Obviously, light for an IPA at 5.8%, but it makes for a great session ale thatís easy to drink and refreshing.
