I came in and thought about what I wanted and decided on something malty and sweet like Celebrator. They didn’t have it. I asked the bartender for a suggestion and this is what she came up with. It is actually better than expected! Quite sweet throughout. Malt in the nose. A dark copper body with a beige head on top. A really fine beer!

Simple aromas of roasted grains and toffee. Crimson/brown appearance. Nicely balanced flavors of burnt sugar, toasted caramel, toffee and hinted alcohol. Interesting off sweetness with brown sugar & maple on the finish. Overall, not bad. Fairly basic yet high drinkability.

this is an irish red? tastes more like a amber to me. too hoppy for a irish red. that being said, its not too bad. a bit of toffee and leather with a mild citrus brightness at the end. another passable beer from BJs.
