Draft sample at Cincy location. Pours a clear yellow golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have grainy, corn malts, some crackers, light herbal hops, pretty boring and not worth The effort.

"Light all around as expected. Slightly fruity and grainy aroma and flavor. I like the hops in here but they donít come through much. For this particular style, and only this style, not bad. Especially in the summer. But really nothin special either. "

Sample at BJís Polaris on 6/27/14. Clear yellow pour with a medium white head. Aroma of malt, metal and water. Sweet malt and crisp hop flavor with a sweet and malty finish.

Draft at their Frederick, MD restaurant, served in a pilsner glass. Golden color with bright white head. Aroma of sweet grainy pale malt. Taste adds lightest note of corn and grass. Light body, moderate-heavy carbonation, crisp with clean finish. Does what a pale lager does, refreshing without a lot to it (not offensive though).

Pint on tap at the Cincinnati location. Mostly clear yellow color. Thin ring of white head. Couple dots of lace. Lighter body. Kind of a sharp carbonation. Light bite to it. Flavor profile is like saltines. Just some mild watery cracker taste. Light bitter, and moderate bite to it. A great replication of the unappealing cheap pale lager. Should satisfy the Bud Light zombies.

This should be rated for what it is as there is nothing truly superb about the style. Very faint light malt aroma. Light golden to yellowish color with a slight fizzy head. Light palate with a lot of carbonation. Taste was of grassy and pale malts with a small hops bitterness. Not much else here but very drinkable and better than its mega-brewery buddies.

Pours gold with a white head. Light bready aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is lightly bready with some very light hop. Decent for a light lager.

On tap at the Tallahassee location. Limited note: pale malt, sweet corn, biscuity, thin. My least favorite of the bjís sampled. - 5.0

AR is that of a rinsed milk jug. Clear, pale. Lightly sweet, corny, no bittering at all. Very light body. Lackluster. With PorterPounder & Son, Tallahassee.
