Our flavorful alternative with even fewer calories than many popular domestic light beers. BJís LightSwitch Lager has a pleasant malt flavor balanced by a clean, dry finish with the handcrafted quality you have come to expect from BJís Restaurant and Brewhouse.

This should be rated for what it is as there is nothing truly superb about the style. Very faint light malt aroma. Light golden to yellowish color with a slight fizzy head. Light palate with a lot of carbonation. Taste was of grassy and pale malts with a small hops bitterness. Not much else here but very drinkable and better than its mega-brewery buddies.

Pours gold with a white head. Light bready aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is lightly bready with some very light hop. Decent for a light lager.

On tap at the Tallahassee location. Limited note: pale malt, sweet corn, biscuity, thin. My least favorite of the bjís sampled. - 5.0

AR is that of a rinsed milk jug. Clear, pale. Lightly sweet, corny, no bittering at all. Very light body. Lackluster. With PorterPounder & Son, Tallahassee.

Tap. Light yellow clear gold. Slightly grainy, not bad with slight lemon and cracker. Light and wet. Not terrible.

Flight 10/28/10 (Tucson-Broadway)-Pours a clear golden with a small ring for a head. Aroma of grains. Taste of malt, grains, and a bitterness. This light bodied brew is not bad but is a good brew for newcomers.

On tap at the Hillsboro location. Pours a clear yellow color with a small white head. A nice smooth grainy nose with some honey. The flavor is basic, malt forward, very clean and light lager. Some yeasty flavors, a bit drier than expected. OK.

ExpendableHero (728) - Florida, USA - SEP 13, 2013
This was a solid pale lager. Clear gold beer with a thin, white head. Aromas of corn mash and grains. Tastes of corn mash, some hay, slight grassy notes, and some skunk funk. Crisp and dry finish is a bit bitter. Tasty for what it is and refreshing.

July 2012. On tap as part of a sampler. Light in flavor, light in color. Light beer with little going on at all. Why even bother? Grassy aromas with corn. High carbonation. Avoid if you can.

On tap at BJs. Pours a pale golden color without much head. Slight hoppiness and refreshing. Pretty good lager.
