COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flavorful alternative with even fewer calories than many popular domestic light beers. BJ’s LightSwitch Lager has a pleasant malt flavor balanced by a clean, dry finish with the handcrafted quality you have come to expect from BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse.

draft as a sampler... all corn but only a little sweet, off bitterness, this is gross

This is the Miller Light of the BJ’s collection. There is little flavor or taste to this one. Watery.

Clear light straw, almost sickly...but has a lasting, laceful, and fluffy white head, so not so bad looking. Clean lagery aroma of biscuity bready malt with a balancing zesty hop nose, almost kinda fruity in a way. The taste is pretty light, expected but still somewhat disappointing. Cracker/pale biscuit bready malt dominates, but it is so light-lagery. Surprisingly, to it’s credit, the hop profile shows up pretty clearly, albeit quietly. Kinda zesty and citrusy, reserved, with little to no bitterness. A lame light beer with a surprisingly nuanced flavor.

Has a sweet smell and taste. Light, not too interesting, but good for a lager. Had on tap. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampler at Arlington, TX location. Comes pale gold with a thin white head. Aroma of grain, malt, and a bit of citrus. Taste is similar. A bit thin. Just passable.

Lemon, grain, dust on the nose. Not much here. Pours pale yellow golden no head. Flavor of grain lemon a little dust. Crisp boring but refreshing.

Only had a little taster, but I was quite disappointed with this, especially given other’s comments. Very thin and plain and a bit funky actually. Not good.

(draft at BJs in Colorado Springs, 9/22/10). Clear gold color. Medium white head. Light sweet malt aroma. Flavor of the same. Short duration. Light dry finish. Thin texture. Moderate carbonation. Good lacing.
