Draught at the brewpub. Yellow body with tons of cloudiness, topped by a snow white head. Recedes quickly but some lacing. Nose of wheat husks, banana, clove, oranges and spices. Flavor is actually pretty good, carrying over the promised notes with good concentration and heft. Fruity, wheaty finish on the back end. I like the way this one tastes. Light-medium bodied, appropriate for style. Finish is lengthy, banana, orange, clove and spices. Good.

On tap it has a light yellow color in the glass. There is a spicy aroma with some citrus and lemon zest. The taste has more citrus come through especially lemon. Small bitterness in the end with a good finish.

On draft at brewpub, pours a light cloudy yellow color with aromas of banana peels, corriander, and some light orange. Flavors follow suit with a touch of vanilla. Decent wit beer overall.

Very dirty, wheat, butblanx, followed by a dirty spiciness, like a cheap black pepper rather than a fresh coriander. not orange flavor, pretty uninspired.

Pint on tap at the Cincinnati location. Very hazy pale yellow color. Nice thin white creamy head, good lace. Banana aroma in the nose - is this normal for Belgian wits? I’ve been getting it a lot lately. A little citrus-peel, vanilla maybe. Texture is consistent with the other BJ brew I had, the IPA - softer dry finish, good lighter crisp and smooth carbonation. Light zesty sweet taste. A respectable belgian wit

On tap at the Dublin, CA location. It pours a very pale yellow with a nice white head. The aroma had lots of coriander, orange and some vanilla and wheat. The flavor was nice. Not over spiced and it had a nice light mouthfeel and a dry finish. A good representation of the style.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2012 On tap at BJs in Tucson, AZ. Hazy medium yellow with a white head. Really nice Belgian style aroma and flavor with coriander and honey. Light body and very refreshing with a prominent wheat and orange/citrus flavors . Yeast is apparent and well integrated. Nicely done!

(draft 8/19/11). Cloudy gold color. Medium white head. Moderate wheat and citrus aroma. Flavor of the same, with light sweet malt. Avg duration. Dry finish. Slick/creamy texture. Moderate carbonation. Good lacing.

In taster at huntington beach location. Looks like lemonade. Smells like light bright relatively strong belgian funk and sweetness. Tastes like a light belgian ale. Probably my second ever wit beer with the first being blue moon (i know right) so i know i need to drink more of the style, but this still isn’t too good. overall 5 of 10.

...on tap at BJ’s. On the nose was some spice and corriander dry notes, as well as some citrus. The body was thin, as was the head. Ended with some wheat and citrus notes. Needed more balls, but better than I expected.

i would have preferred it less filtered, more like Hoegaarten, its current form its closer to an american wheat ale than a wit. still, its refreshing enough, though the spice balanced seemed to be a little off, with a kind of grassy earthy undertone throughout. not bad, and worth a try.
