2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 dcschiller (1681) - Scottsdale, USA - JUL 21, 2011
(On draught at Papago). Pours clear (wtf??). Golden with thin white head. Active carbonation. Minus points for the filtering. Aroma has some orange, wheat and a bit of coriander. Taste is sweet with some bubblegum notes and a bit of bitterness. Medium bodied with an oily texture. Bitter finish. This is a pretty bad example of the style.

(draft 8/19/11). Cloudy gold color. Medium white head. Moderate wheat and citrus aroma. Flavor of the same, with light sweet malt. Avg duration. Dry finish. Slick/creamy texture. Moderate carbonation. Good lacing.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 p1meatloaf (208) - California, USA - SEP 16, 2011
In taster at huntington beach location. Looks like lemonade. Smells like light bright relatively strong belgian funk and sweetness. Tastes like a light belgian ale. Probably my second ever wit beer with the first being blue moon (i know right) so i know i need to drink more of the style, but this still isn’t too good. overall 5 of 10.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 UnholyBrewing (517) - Central Florida(Upper Hell), Florida, USA - SEP 4, 2011
...on tap at BJ’s. On the nose was some spice and corriander dry notes, as well as some citrus. The body was thin, as was the head. Ended with some wheat and citrus notes. Needed more balls, but better than I expected.
2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 fluffy (597) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - AUG 25, 2011
i would have preferred it less filtered, more like Hoegaarten, its current form its closer to an american wheat ale than a wit. still, its refreshing enough, though the spice balanced seemed to be a little off, with a kind of grassy earthy undertone throughout. not bad, and worth a try.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 womencantsail (3927) - Home of Rebecca Black, California, USA - AUG 23, 2011
A: The beer pours a very pale yellow color with q finger of soapy white head.
S: Smells intensely citrusy. A lot of lemon and orange notes with a fair amour of candied lemon peel. Certainly some coriander notes and a little bit of white pepper. Not much in the way of malts.
T: Some good wheat flavor, which is a bit surprising. Moderately sweet with quite a bit of citrus on the flavor, as well. Heavy on the lemon mid-palate with the coriander coming toward the back. A little bit watery.
M: The body is light with a medium to high level of carbonation.
O: Perhaps not surprisingly, this was a lackluster witbier. Not something I would revisit.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 EithCubes (3337) - GERMANY - AUG 17, 2011
Draught in Greenwood. Hazy yellow-golden with a short, lacing white head. Strong lemon nose with mild cleaning-agent tones. Light-medium body is perfect for the lighter side of the wit-spectrum with subtle notes of coriander coming through.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Blairgus (1189) - California, USA - JUL 29, 2011
28 July 2011, tap. Light but bright yellow, hazy w/ steady bubbles and frothy head. Nose is delicate, w/ orange peel probably being the dominant aroma. Thin/med body and slightly fizzy and creamy. Taste is much more pronounced than aroma. Lightly sweet, orange, some faint coriander and more dominant yeast flavors. Very nice.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 adnielsen (3752) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 7, 2011
Tap @ Aurora location. Cloudy, light yellow appearance with a white head. Yeasty, light orange peel, light coriander nose. Yeasty, somewhat coriander spicy, quite fruity (particularly orange peel), light wheat flavor. Refreshing, easy drinking beer but a little too fruity.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 dyetube (1062) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JUN 24, 2011
Draft at bjs restaurant. Pours a cloudy dull yellow with a thin white head. The aromas are coriander, oranges, closet. The mouthfeel is watery, slightly bitter and ready with a good carbobation and light body. Not a bad beer on a hot afternoon but that’s nor saying much. Cheers!
