COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nutty Brewnette is a unique American-style brown ale. A blend of four different dark malts produces a flavor profile that is sweet with "nutty" notes like Newcastle. But a healthy dose of hops makes this beer hoppier and more balanced than most English brown ales.

Decent brown ale with plenty of flavor. Roasted and nutty aromas. Medium brown color with a thin head. Medium to light palate with good carbonation. Nothing overly exciting. Light toffee, roasted malt and nut notes blend well with a small hops presence. Like most of their beers, easy to drink.

Draft at their restaurant in Frederick, MD. Served in a footed pilsner glass, clear brown color with light tan head. Aroma of caramel malt sweetness, some nuttiness and faint chocolate. Taste is pretty much the aroma with some hop bitterness. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp, soft with clean finish. Uneventful but non-offensive.

The Aroma is caramel malt, semi-sweet and nutty. The Taste is caramel malt, nutty, semi-sweet, and lightly hoppy. The Palate is tingly and this is a light-medium bodied beer.
