COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nutty Brewnette is a unique American-style brown ale. A blend of four different dark malts produces a flavor profile that is sweet with "nutty" notes like Newcastle. But a healthy dose of hops makes this beer hoppier and more balanced than most English brown ales.

The nutty brewnette is hot. Buy the T-shirt. I agree that this is Newcastle with more bite from the hops. Balances well and perfect with the pizza.

Hey, my wife liked it so it can't be that bad. This is a very normal beer for a brewpub--a bit roasted, malty, very typical. Deep red appearance, nothing particularly assertive, nice touches of sweetness, nuttiness a nice dimension. A drinkable offering. (at Addison, TX location)

Clear and dark brown with a reddish hue. Non-lasting head. Sweet and slightly nutty malts. Syrupy smooth with a mild carbonation. Rich bitterness seemed to balance the sweetness nicely. Finishes dryish with some decent lingering flavors: woody and nutty. Easy to drink and not too bad.

Decent enough brown (not a big fan of browns personally). Brown in color (go figure) with no head (at least by the time it got to me). Slight roasted aroma. Start slightly malty sweet, top thin, middle bland, finish had some sweetness.

Decent brown. Thin mouth feel. Average roasted malt flavor. Would drink it again but I wouldnt go out of my way for it.

had this @ the BJ’s in Irvine, CA. It’s a tasty brown ale. I thought it was pretty good, but some of their other beers were far superior (grand cru, hefe...)
