COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nutty Brewnette is a unique American-style brown ale. A blend of four different dark malts produces a flavor profile that is sweet with "nutty" notes like Newcastle. But a healthy dose of hops makes this beer hoppier and more balanced than most English brown ales.

Pours reddish brown with thin head and some lacing. Notes of roasted nuts and pine. Well balanced taste that was smooth and sessionable.

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2010 Not as sweet as many browns, dark pour, nutty smell and flavor. Better than Newcastle

Pours clear deep brown with a white head. Smells of nutty, roasted malt. Has a medium body, featuring sweet roasted malt and burned caramel. Enough hops make an appearance for a little bitter finish. Not bad at all, but not BJs best.

Sample at BJs in San Bruno. Light brown hue, with a nice, lasting, off white head. Medium, creamy body. Taste is nutty, coffee, with hints of vanilla. Long espresso finish. OK brown.

I had this beer at BJs in Gainesville. I would describe it as having as a Sam Adams on the front end and a NewCastle on the backend. I love a brown ale. This is was a surprise with such a nice, but not overwhelming "hoppiness" when it hits your palate. But it has a very mildly sweet second act(which is a problem many "hoppy" beers fail to have).

Cloudy mahogany with a medium beige creamy head. Aroma had roasted malt, nuts, caramel and hoppy notes. Flavour sweet with roasted malt, caramel, nuts and chocolate. Finished sweet and roasted.

Draft: While watching the World Cup 2010 quarter finals Germany 3 vs Uruguay 2. I ordered the 6 Tasting Sampler, which goes from light / clear to stronger / dark. As they get darker (red / pale ale / brown) the beers have more body and complex flavors. Very nice nutty flavor from their brown ale, the porter is also well crafted. Overall good beer there is something for everyone. Food Pairing: Chicken Sandwich & Brownie with Vanilla Ice cream.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a softly carbonated transparent red brown colored body. The aroma was mild malt. The crisp mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The flavor contained notes of mild brown malt. An OK brew just nothing special.

In Tampa. A clear amber pour with off white head. A malty and nutty scent. The taste is the same with a little hop bite. Not bad.
