COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nutty Brewnette is a unique American-style brown ale. A blend of four different dark malts produces a flavor profile that is sweet with "nutty" notes like Newcastle. But a healthy dose of hops makes this beer hoppier and more balanced than most English brown ales.

Decent enough brown (not a big fan of browns personally). Brown in color (go figure) with no head (at least by the time it got to me). Slight roasted aroma. Start slightly malty sweet, top thin, middle bland, finish had some sweetness.

Draft. Clear medium brown light tan head. Sweet and nutty brown that is also a little syrupy. Some good points but limited.

hotstuff (3929) - Indiana, USA - JAN 30, 2014
Rated on 12-13-2009 at Greenwood, IN location. This draft beer forms a small tan head with a very long retention, transparent red body, very little visible carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The Aroma is caramel malt, semi-sweet and nutty. The Taste is caramel malt, nutty, semi-sweet, and lightly hoppy. The Palate is tingly and this is a light-medium bodied beer. Overall, this beer is easy to drink, has a nice nutty flavor and a beer I would drink again.

Draft in Florence - nutty and caramel. Fairly playful. Light and nutty. Not offensive.

Tap from Tallahassee location. I kind of like this one because it wasnít a typical overly sweet brown. Notes: chocolate, nutty, coffee, fairly hoppy. Little dry. 7.0

Draft flight 10/28/10 (Tucson-Broadway)-Pours a dark amber with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and nuts. Taste of the same with more nut and malt. This medium bodied brew is a nice tasting brown.

Clear brown with a neat 1" head, swirls and streaks of lace. Meek malt flavor moves through the palate without asserting anything, finally arriving at a thin, oily finish. Very average.

Pour on tap at the brewpub, dark reddish brown pour with thin off white head, aroma brought notes of slight watery cardboard, grain, slgiht caramel, toffee and nutty notes, hints of spice and grass. Taste was grain, biscuit, slight caramel, nuts, touch of spice, slight grass and pine hop, finishing sweet and watery.

Pours a clear brown with creamy tan cap and good lace. Aroma is nice nutty caramel and toffee. Taste follows, hint of bitter hop back, but nice balance. This is probably the best bet I had from them.

On tap at BJs. A nice clear brown beer with a little tan/white head. Nutty aroma with a slight nutty well balanced taste.

Tap at Bjs at Polaris. Pour nut brown with nut nose and tastes of nuts an malt. Nuts here in this review doesn't mean testicles by the way. Decent but not amazing. ---Rated via my mouth
