Pours nice dark brown with a ruby hue and a lasting tan head. Sweet malty aroma with some nuts and a decent amount of hops. Similar flavor, nice sweet nuttiness, and more hoppiness than you usually find in a brown ale. The added hops make for a very interesting take on the brown ale, and a very enjoyable brew. tomciccateri (466), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA Sep 26, 2008 On tap in El Paso, labeled 5.8%. Pours a clear, deep, dark amber color with a tan head and lace. Slightly dry, rich malty flavor. Nice attempt at a "nut brown".
