Nutty Brewnette is a unique American-style brown ale. A blend of four different dark malts produces a flavor profile that is sweet with "nutty" notes like Newcastle. But a healthy dose of hops makes this beer hoppier and more balanced than most English brown ales.

On tap in Melbourne, FL. Dark red-amber body has excellent clarity and is topped by very nice, creamy tan head. very malty with just enough hops to keep the bitter-sweet balance about even. There are some toffee and brown bread flavors as well. Medium carbonation in a medium body.

21st May 2015: BJís Laguna Hills outlet. Part of an eight glass flight. Autumnal red body with a thin white covering for a head. Malty, nutty and semi-sweet in nature. OK brew that does not test your senses to greatly, but has a pleasant aroma and taste. My sweet tooth liked it.

"a little thin and not as hoppy as the brewer states. not bad, but nothing exciting. iíd put it as a similar beer to Newcastle...maybe slightly better, but not worth the price."
