On tap at BJ’s in Houston (Brewed by St Arnolds). Pours orange with a white, short lived, foamy head. Aroma is of caramel malt and hints of hops. Medium, crisp body. Taste is herbal, earthy hops up front followed by toasted malt and caramel. Long, bitter finish. Nicely done Oktoberfest.

BJ’s WIllowbrook. Has a clear orange copper color with a small off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a light malt and cascade hops. The tase a sweet malt and caramel. A good Marzen from BJ’s.

Pours a clear copper amber color with no head. Smell is fruity, lightly toasty malt and some yeastiness. Taste is crisp balanced toastiness and fruity malt along with a refreshing bitterness. Very nice and drinkable. Lightly dusty and yeasty flavor with lingering grassy hop flavor and bitterness. Enjoyable beer.

BJ’s Oktoberfest (Boulder): Surprisingly tasty and easy to drink. Great session beer. Wholesome and fresh-tasting elements of biscuits and bread, with a balanced, slightly herbal hoppiness. Pinch of citrus.

Tap at BJ’s in Vacaville, CA. Poured a copper color with a red hue with little to no head. Tasted of sweet malt with just a hint of bitter a the end. Smooth a consistent on the palate. Great drinkable beer.
