Pours a clear copper amber color with no head. Smell is fruity, lightly toasty malt and some yeastiness. Taste is crisp balanced toastiness and fruity malt along with a refreshing bitterness. Very nice and drinkable. Lightly dusty and yeasty flavor with lingering grassy hop flavor and bitterness. Enjoyable beer.

A pretty standard Marzen. Thought it was perhaps a little watery, and could of had more kick.

BJ’s Oktoberfest (Boulder): Surprisingly tasty and easy to drink. Great session beer. Wholesome and fresh-tasting elements of biscuits and bread, with a balanced, slightly herbal hoppiness. Pinch of citrus.

On tap at Laguna Hills, CA, this was a pretty good Oktoberfest (they spelled it with a ’k’ there). Nice malty flavor, better than most O-fests.
