BJ’s in Portland on tap. Quite drinkable. Aroma a bit faint but good. Taste is malty with wheat and a bit of hoppiness. A little watery in the middle. Not much lacing. Overall, not a bad selection; don’t know if I would get it again.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 mike67 (451) - , New Jersey, USA - OCT 26, 2011
On tap at BJ’s in Houston (Brewed by St Arnolds). Pours orange with a white, short lived, foamy head. Aroma is of caramel malt and hints of hops. Medium, crisp body. Taste is herbal, earthy hops up front followed by toasted malt and caramel. Long, bitter finish. Nicely done Oktoberfest.

On tap at BJ’s. Pours clear orange with small off white head. Aroma of grainy caramel with mild hop presence. Flavor is much the same with a lightly sweet and earthy finish and pretty metallic. Mouthfeel is medium body with high carbonation. Overall, is ok.

A fine beer, it isn’t too heavy or malty. Looks are a solid orange. Mostly this is pretty drinkable but also pretty uninteresting.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 p1meatloaf (208) - California, USA - SEP 16, 2011
Looks like yellow and very clear. Light off white head. Smells like caramel. Tastes like a very drinkable amber with probably munich malts. Nothing special but drinkable like it should be and it just tastes kinda german in style. Overall 5 of 10.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 dyetube (1062) - McKinney, Texas, USA - SEP 14, 2011
On draft at the restaurant. Pours a light copper with a medium off white head. The aromas are dough, musk. The mouthfeel is slightly dry and bready with a medium body. Cheers!

Got this at the brewery. Looked ok, but thin head. Aroma is similar to Budweiser. Flavour is also light and not really great. Overall I get excited about octoberfests but this one is a turn off!

(draft at BJs Colorado Springs, 12/17/10). Amber color, with light cloudiness. Medium off white head. Moderate bready malt and caramel aroma and flavor. Avg duration. Smooth finish. Slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20 beersearcher (1472) - Glendale, California, USA - SEP 4, 2011
The curse of the icy glass strikes. I just wanted a good lager on a hot day and I got brain freeze. Once the beer warmed up above arctic level it wasn’t half bad. Still pretty sharp and over carbonated bur a pleasant malt taste is hiding in the background.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - DEC 26, 2010
Deep gold color with a small white head. Some lace. Sweet clean malty aroma with a touch of higher alcohol. Almost a little pastry like. A little on the sweet side with low hops. Malty stuff. Medium light body and dries just enough in the finish to stay relatively drinkable. Neo-wiesn and mddle of the road at that.
