On tap at B.J.’s Portland, sampled 2 August 2004. Deep chestnut-brown body, medium tan head. Dry roasted malt aroma. Flavor of baker’s chocolate, dry roast (toast), and some bitter highlights. Fairly average.

BJ's Portland - Lloyd Center
Dark brown, not quite black with tan head & some lacing. Aroma is chemically, bland, cardboard & some coffee roast. The flavor tastes very sweet & chocolatey but comes off musky & dry like raw cocoa. Finishes dry, medicinal & unimperssive.
