2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Deep amber-red with a thinnish head. Rich and chewy texture; moderate carbonation. Big sweetness, with notes of chocolate, caramel, toffee, nuts, Boston baked beans and Sugar Babies. Had a little sourness (cherries) and some bitterness (flowers), too. Nice flavors but the aromas seemed a little obscured. Sweetness was a little heavy for my buds.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: MAY 18, 2005 Draught.
Body is light brown.
Aroma is moderately malty (cookie), trace hops (resin), with notes of bubble gum and toffee.
Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, slightly husky.
Medium body, syrupy texture, lively carbonation.
Ok, but kinda hard to genuinely enjoy...bubble gummy with a grainy aftertaste. Ah well.
