A hoppy, American-style pale ale made with Yakima Valleyís best hops. Bittered with Chinook, while dry-hopped with the snappy flavor and bite of Cascade hops. For hopheads only!

Location: on tap at the brewpub Appearance: Lighter golden. Small head of white bubbles Nose: medium to lighter malt. Decent mild hops Taste: Mildly hoppy with restrained floral hops Body: Thinner and light Parting thoughts: Seemingly a watered down version of a decent ale

Man, where to start on this one? First it pours a crimson brown hue, translucent. Minimal nose. Taste has slight bitterness, light flowers and citrus rind. Begins with a sloppy feel, as it warms it becomes more enjoyable. Light body.

4-5 oz pour on draft at BJís (Gainesville, VA location) with a Mustang Sally yelling DCLawyer. Murky brownish orange with off-white head. Aromas of toasty notes, biscuit, light citrus. Tastes of citrus, toasty notes, biscuit, floral notes. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

FROTHINGSLOSH (6382) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 22, 2016
Sampled on draft at the Pittsburgh location this beer poured a bright orange color with a medium sized creamy orange-white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was faint but sweetish with vague fruits. The flavor was tangy, sweet and vaguely fruity with hints of pine and cracker. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

Tap. Pours a clear copper body with a one finger frothy off-white head. The nose is a nice mix of citrus and caramel maltiness. Flavor wise, itís a bit on the sweeter side, with just a slight hint of a chemical like note once the hops fade on the finish. In fact, the more I have, the more the finish bothers me. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a slight cling on the back end. This one tasted decent at first, but the finish got to me.

Leckeres Helles Ale. Eigentlich eher unauffällig und leicht langweilig, man merkt aber die Berufung des Braumeisters. Kann man trinken, muss man aber nicht. BJ's hat auch ein tolles IPA, lieber mal das probieren! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

BJís Piranha Pale Ale is a pretty solid pale. Amber pour is a moderate hop aroma. Taste is fairly complex but not real bitter -- nice floral notes. Piranha is an enjoyable pale.

Draft in a flight at the local brewpub. Pours a clear bright gold with a white head that laces the glass and settles into a film and ring. Notes of pineapple, lemon, grass, straw, pale and bready malts, florals, and melon. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a smooth, juicy, moderately bitter mouthfeel. Surprisingly good pale ale, and considerably better than the IPA.

Taster in Florence - nose is resin. Sip adds more resin. Malty backbone and fairly bitter. Decent and inoffensive.
