topherh (278), Kearney, Missouri, USA May 24, 2008 Pour was copper. Aroma was hoppy with a strange almost belgian like aroma. Flavor was much the same. Very disappointed in this beer. Don’t know if I was experienceing a bad batch or dirty taps, but this was almost undrinkable.

(a rare find in this part of the state) nqualls (420), Tennessee, USA Sep 23, 2008 On tap at Bakersfield. Poured a clear amber with a small off white head. Aroma of hops. Flavor was very well balanced between malt and hops. Light/medium body with good carbonation. BuckeyeBoy (1181), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 19, 2008 On Tap at BJ’s Reno Location. Pours out a amber topped with a cream head. A very nice hop aroma all over this one. Tast more of the crisp hops. I think the best BJ’s Brew I had that day. ansermadide (236), Kyle, Texas, USA Sep 7, 2008 Updated: Sep 11, 2008(On tap at Austin location on September 6, 2008) BJ’s Piranha Pale has a great head... a very cabonated pale amber color. Its aroma is sweet, its flavor pale and sweet, reminds me of a Sprite. A light trace of hops. A light body, but not watery. Tastes almost metallic. Alright, all in all. The bartender just brought out my fries. Awesome! Heavy, but sticky lacing. Not too bad of a mouthfeel. Bradrcr (617), Renton, Washington, USA Aug 31, 2008 7/21/08 On draught at the Tukwila, Wa Brewpub. Aroma is c-hop dominant with a low caramel balance. Appearance is clear gold with a well maintained cream colored head. Flavor is fairly sour citrus hops forward, well balanced by sweet malt. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a moderate carb texture. Overall, easy drinking, and just a little starchy.
