changeup45 (504), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 25, 2008 Cool name. Copper colored with a mild piney hop aroma. Grapefruit hoppy flavor, slightly sweet but overall somewhat mild. The finishing hops really aren’t there as it finishes a touch bland. A decent Pale Ale.
SuperDave70 (577), Arizona, USA Jul 3, 2008 Clear bright gold color with a small foamy white head. Hops, citrus and caramel malts in the aroma. Flavor is pretty much the same. Not super hoppy, but enough to give a bit of bite on the finish. Good, though not great. Brewsmith (45), Torrance, California, USA Jul 1, 2008 On tap at the new BJ’s in Torrance, CA. Aroma is hoppy, a little spicy and citrusy. Golden and crystal clear. Crisp, bitter but with enough malt to balance. Clean dry finish with some lingering hops. Not a bad Pale Ale. Not overly aggresive. hellbilly (732), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Jun 30, 2008 chandler, az. clear orange color with a small white head. lacing left behind looks like a screen. pretty standard aroma of caramel-y grain, citrus/sweetened grapefruit juice and light pine. the flavor shares the same characteristics along with the addition of floral and grassy notes. dry lightly bitter finish shows some pine and soapiness. light to medium body feels rather watery. markwise (195), Orlando, Florida, USA Jun 29, 2008 This beer was way off-balance. It poured a nice orange color with a citrus and slight pine aroma. Upon tasting, though, it had a lot of hop bite, but not a lot of hop flavor. The finish dragged its nails down my throat and left a bad bitterness (yes, there is a good bitterness). Did not care for it. djd07 (316), Houston, Texas, USA Jun 13, 2008 On tap at Willowbrook. Has a cloudy golden orange color with a small white head. The aroma is very hoppy with pine and floral. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a very light hop with a sweet fruit finish. A good american pale ale from BJ’s.
