2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
This was less than impressive. The bartender tried to sell this to me as a belgian golden. This has just a hint of horsesaddlle, wet cardboard, some coriander and clove. Just comes across tasting sweaty.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle; 2003 RAF: Hazy auburn liquid. Fizzy foam. Soft aroma of fruit, vague spices, soil, and cardboard. Citric undertones. Mild metallic flavors. Earthy qualities. Light acidity. Soft, watery palate. Further evidence of the American struggle to brew a proper, respectable Saison.
