tap at el paso location on numerious occasions (usually dates)-pours lightly hazy dark yellow with a small fizzy white head with lots of carbonation. nose is grainy spicy with some sprtizy alka seltzer like qualities. flavors of pale malt sweet husks spicy hops and german lager yeast funk. I think this is a very well put together little pilsner. Under-rated and if your at a BJ’s location, check it out and have a couple. THere isnt much to write home about at these places if you ask me. Some lingering sulfer notes long into the finish.

On tap at bj’s. This beer pours a dull yellow with a thin white head. The aromas are skunk, lemon. The mouthfeel is watery and slightly sweet with a light body. Not a great beer but drinkable. Cheers!

2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Bif (621) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 19, 2011
Had on-tap at BJ’s in El Paso, TX. Served a clear light golden color with a white head that faded to some lacing. Very mild aroma of fresh grain with a trace of spicy sweetness. The taste also on the mild side. Sort of a mixture of fresh grain with a slight malt sweetness. A touch of bitternessand a dry finish. Light body, crisp and clean. A bit refreshing on a hot day. Nice drinker that goes best with food. Good for a few as it goes down easy. Not one of BJ’s better efforts, aimed at the BMC drinkers.

Light malty aroma, mellow pale yellow, low bitterness and hop, drinkable but lacks the traditional style of a Pils, more of an light amber.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 lawman834 (138) - Georgia, USA - APR 27, 2010
Had at BJs in El Paso. Pale golden color with minimal head and poor retention. Moderate lacing. Doesn’t smell like much of anything. Taste features mellow malt and crips hop bite. Balanced, but not hoppy enough for a pils. Finishes smooth with no aftertaste.
3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 WesKBob (541) - Bethany, Oklahoma, USA - APR 17, 2010
Pours a clear straw color. Little head, but moderate lacing from what’s there. Saaz hop and biscuit aroma. Flavor is grassy and spicy. Nice hop bite in the finish. Not my favorite style, but this was a very respectable pilsner.
