Angeloregon (2023), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 11, 2007 On draught at Belmont Station. Poured a hazy straw yellow tone with a healthy white topping. Aromatic and flavorful. Fruity and sour notes that were subtle and complex. Oaky tannin notes made a cameo halfway through the tasting. Mild and true to style. The perfect warm-weather beer. Great great great! Oakes (7030), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jul 22, 2007 Draught at Belmont Bier Cafe Puckerfest. A 2-year-old keg. This is the age at which Berliner Weisse is reputed to hit its stride, and my experience with Schultheiss at least backs that up.

Cloudy, pale yellow. Very wheaty nose, slightly tart lime and wood accents. Moderate tartness on the palate and a clean light maltiness. Not a ton of nuance. On the whole this is a mild but authentic rendition...good to see it. Crit (2258), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Jun 18, 2007 Tap at Bier Cafe: Murky gold, with a small white head. Sour astringent nose. Dry, sour somewhat lightly fruity profile. SamuraiArtist (292), portland, Oregon, USA Jun 14, 2007 Draft at Belmont Station: Pours a hazy yellow with a fluffy 1.5 finger white head. Sour lactic aroma and fresh wheat. Light on the palate, slightly creamy, slightly sweet with a really nice tart flavor. FInishes crisp. This beer goes down extremely easy and is quite refreshing. Cant imagine a better summer and/or session beer. DA (2586), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Jun 11, 2007 Pours cloudy stoplight yellow with a soft white head. Sour and mildly acidic aroma. Very light on the palate, but an excellent blend of sourness and yeast estery flavor. Refreshing and awesomely drinkable on a hot day. I was very impressed when I saw this on the menu, the local BJ’s brewery is tackling some hard to find styles and crafting some delicious beers.
