3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap @ Brouwers: Hard Liver: Misty orange with very little head. The nose is sharp with clove and grassy hops. Citrusy hops and caramel malts mainly in the flavor, seems a bit layered, not much harmony. The finish is dry and thin. Not amazing...

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
2006. No warning sign on this barley banger outside of the monsterous floral nose. Very nicely dosed with hops and poured nicely while maintaining an equitable head and beautiful lace. As it warmed, it developed more of a cloying characteristic. I prefer this one in the beginnning when it was colder. A very nice beer.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2008 Hard Liver í08
Orangey-amber colour. Orangey-tangerine aroma. Thick, boozy, orangey hops, big chewy notes. Clean, orangey...a chewy marmaladey example.
Hard Liver í07
Hazy amber colour. Aroma shows a lot of sugars...of the standard chewy/earthy variety. Full body. Big brown sugar finish. A little simple. 5 3 6 3 12 = 2.9

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hard Liver 08. Big floral and piney aroma that struck me as being almost in the IIPA range. Caramel fruity sweetness is moderate in the flavor with a touch of toffee and a long bitter floral finish. Dry and resiny with lots of hops for style.
