3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour on tap at the brewpub, dark black pour with thin but lasting tan head on nitro, aroma brought roast, dark chocolate, coffee hints of grain, spice, and slight grassy notes, touch of dark fruits. Taste is a mix of dark chocolate and fruits, hints of coffee, lots of roast, caramel, hints of spice and grass, finishing bitter, dry.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a thick black with fluffy tan head that leaves light lace. Aroma is roasted malt, slight dark chocolate, and soy. Tate follows, almost like a dry stout. Creamy mouth, probably nitrogen carbonated, and no hint of the booze. Pretty decent.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the Hillsboro location. This is poor for an Imperial Stout, but not terrible. Bad expectations! Pours a pure black color with a medium brown head. The nose is cocoa, very sweet oddly, some light roast. The flavor has something bordering on diacetal here, very sweet popcorn, cocoa, caramel, more sweetness. Only a light roast. Little fruit, some nuttiness.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Bjs at Tuttle. Thick black pour with head that never dissipates. Nose is a bit weak. Good smooth nitro mouthfeel and notes of cocoa and coffee. Lingering thick feel and taste. Good but not great. Has a strange sharp underlying note that limits it a bit.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a black color with a sweet malt aroma. Taste is a little hoppy, with a slight bitter aftertaste. There is a minor sweet caramel flavor, with a creamy film left on the tongue. overall a decent stout.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours black with tan head and some lacing. Aroma is fainter than it should be...chocolate and coffee. Taste is good...but just average and unimpressive for an imperial stout. A little thin with warmth on the backend.
