Draught in Dallas, Texas. Black pour with a medium tan head and rather clingy lacing. Aroma was roasted malt and coffee. Same for the flavour and the 8+ ABV was well hidden.

On tap at BJís in Fort Collins. Appearance: finger of thick creamy tan head, dark brown color, clear, great lacing. Aroma: chocolate, roast, molasses, very malty. Palate: full body, smooth creamy texture, soft to flat carbonation. Taste: sweet malt to even sweeter malt with light bitter finish. Overall, very nice palate, but maybe a little cloying for my taste.

On tap 5 oz. sample at BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse in Vienna (Tyson's Corner), VA. Opaque, near black with a creamy tan head and excellent lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, dark roasted coffee and bittersweet chocolate. Taste of roasted malt, dark roasted coffee, bourbon, bittersweet chocolate, tart black cherries, blackberries, molasses and light citrus. A nice take on a classic Russian Imperial Stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Pours a clear dark brown with a brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a combination of roasted malts and a touch of smoke backed a good amount of sweet grains that give a hint of bitterness.

Not terrible, but nothing to write home about if you have a developed palate. Good transition dark beer for the bud lite drinkers.
