11th October 2008. GABF. Presented as íTwin Oak Chardonnay Tripelí with an abv of 8.7%. Amazing toffee apple nose. Dry palate. Sweet appley caramel and dry sweet finish. Some lambic like acidness providing a balance to the sweet falvours. A real standout beer for me at GABF 08.

Draught at GABF 2008 - as Twin Oak Chardonney Tripel. Cloudy dark amber - white head. Lovely wine aroma, raisins, sweetness, winegums, light sourness, a bit brett, fruity, acid, grape, spicy, light alcoholic. Nice complexity.

Draught at GABF as Twin Oak Chardonnay Tripel. Clear yellow coloured with a medium sized white head. Sweet and light acidic aroma of white wine and lactic acid. Light acidic flavour of grapes, vanilla and lactic acidc with notes of white wine and alcohol. Warming alcoholic finish. Too alcoholic for me.

Really nice tart beer. Chardonnay barrel aged; some Sherry notes. Very pleasant.

Draft at Bjs Oxnard; Nose of oak wine barrels, light tartness, candi sugar, and apples; Dark gold with a small white head; flavor of oaky charrdonay grapes, light vinegary tartness, light sweetness, spices, and apples. Tasted like it was aged in charrdonay barrels.
